I just got a round loom, I like the hats it can make, so far I have made a matching baby hat and a bigger one that fits me nicely. They are warm and kinda slouchy. I think the loom works better with 2 strings of yarn at once, unless you like a big loose weave…I will post photos of some bigger hats soon!
I made these cereal bars for my mom, gluten free and full of energy!
Ingredients:
1. 1 stick butter, small 1/2 cup brown sugar, a good blob of honey, a few big spoonfuls coconut mana, 2 cap fulls vanilla, about 1/2 cup peanut butter…cream together in a mixer
2. about 1/4 cup gluten free flour (your choice what kind), 1 cup-1 1/2 cups oats, dash of salt, dash baking soda…mix well
3. heaping 1/4 cup of each (or more…or less, what ever you like): crasins, almond bits, chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, few spoonfuls ground flax seeds….mix well and press into parchment lined baking dish, bake at 350 until light golden brown. YUM
It turned out pretty crumbly you could add an egg or two and see if that helps, we like it like that, you can crumble it over yogurt…
