Organic Gluten-free Yum Bars….

I made these cereal bars for my mom, gluten free and full of energy!

Ingredients:

1. 1 stick butter, small 1/2 cup brown sugar, a good blob of honey, a few big spoonfuls coconut mana, 2 cap fulls vanilla, about 1/2 cup peanut butter…cream together in a mixer

2. about 1/4 cup gluten free flour (your choice what kind), 1 cup-1 1/2 cups oats, dash of salt, dash baking soda…mix well

3. heaping 1/4 cup of each (or more…or less, what ever you like): crasins, almond bits, chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, few spoonfuls ground flax seeds….mix well and press into parchment lined baking dish, bake at 350 until light golden brown. YUM

It turned out pretty crumbly  you could add an egg or two and see if that helps, we like it like that, you can crumble it over yogurt…

Ocean Beach Flashback…

DSC_0862
I did not get a chance to post some stuff from our Cali trip, hanging out with the kids in Ocean Beach. We made cake one night, it was super easy and delicious!
Try it, one box organic vanilla cake mix, mix in a couple eggs, a scoop of yogurt (we used strawberry honey Greek yogurt), a splash of almond milk, a sprinkle of lavender, red clover, and crushed dehydrated raspberries (all harvested in Washington), and a handful of blueberries.
SUPER YUMMY. we ate it with more yogurt on top. Lavender Shortcakes.

Farm Blessings.

Inspired by the farm…

Here are some shots from the amazing farm i am staying at while i am in Washington. I will post more about it soon, I happen to be very worn out right now after a full day of learning to chicken harvest. I have learned so much, it was a huge energy transfer, time flew and i did not realize how hungry and tired I would be! I think it might be almost bed time. Maybe some peppermint tea would help…
